Well here we are 3 breakfasts down and the busiest time to come.
Firstly the date for the final dinner is wrong it will be on the 6th July and the venue is to be at a couple’s home in Broome. There was some indecision last weekend as to if or what would happen but again God took charge and it is set.
As I said they are a local couple who have been so generous to BCA letting them use their house and yard for the Christ for Camper’s dinner.
We must not take this for granted as it is so special for them to open their home and let us invade their privacy. Their house overlooks the coast from Willie Creek to Gantheaume Point. For those who don’t know the area it is the most spectacular view you could wish to have for a sunset dinner.
The first breakfast was a learning time for the team as to how to set out the serving tables but after a post breakfast debrief we sorted it out and the next was much better. Our third went very well.
We have had one problem and that is that the mornings are cold. Yes I know for you in the south it is warm but for us northerners it is cold so some people have come, got breakfast and then take it back to their vans to eat it. This then makes it a bit hard to proclaim the gospel to all; never the less we still have a good number to talk to. 1st breakfast saw 63+ served 2nd 47 and yesterday 45. Yesterday Lachlan – assistant minister – spoke, and pitched his talk at caravaners, navigating and the journey we take it was so suitable for yesterday’s group. Tim – senior minister – spoke on Tuesday and told how God accepted the tax collector with all his faults, with our nomad Ian – not Judy’s Ian – speaking last Saturday about life’s journey and God’s hand in that journey if only we ask, they were all great. God has provided 3 very diverse speakers and we are blessed.
There have been things also happening along the way with out-reach not as we planned but as Ian says plans are made to be broken.

It has taken me a while to get back to this newsletter.
We have 6 breakfasts under our belt now and two more to go. The response has been good, about an average of 60 that is 50 to 75 so far.
We have had good comments on the breakfast and the smooth professional way it has been run.
Our speakers have been very good with their message being very suitable for non Christians. We will probably never know the impact they might have.
God has certainly stretched Judy. Ian keeps saying, “With all these skills you have developed Jude what will God have us doing next?” At this point she doesn’t want to know.
When it is all over we will be very tired. Judy will be lost as she is used to the routine of Breakfast, restock containers, buy more food, Play cards with the owners kids after school, tea, bed then do it all again.
It continues to fascinate Judy as to the quantities we use. It has been great to have a very helpful young lady at our wholesaler.
It has been interesting as we have bought woolies out of their cheaper bacon, we use 6kg a day and yesterday we bought all the frozen carrots Coles had for the dinner, 10kg in total.
We lost 2 of our helpers today as they have moved on but we already have 2 to take their place. God certainly does provide.
The dinner is on Friday night and we have printed 150 tickets. At this stage we have 50 left. Hope we sell them all or else we will have a lot of food left with nowhere to store it. Any way Judy keeps reminding herself God is in charge and he knows best and he does.

Sounds like it’s hard work but you’re having a ball. As Judy says.. you’ll never know what seeds have been planted. I certainly hope you’re not sharing your terrific coffee with all these people!! Yes it was very sad about Tim & Leah’s baby! But good news for Pete & Lea! Hope you’re selling a lot of the rest of the tickets – hope you get some feedback at the dinner (and some serious questions asked) We are having some very cold gusty winds at the moment. The rain has been wonderful, in the end the grass was so soggy, but was much needed – Warragamba 50% full now. (Our animals didn’t approve of the conditions much) Keep well!
